Pique blanket - The Karni Pass was closed

During the last days of his illness, my father was covered with a sky-blue pique blanket. I painted it and interlaced within it some actuality sentences with a double meaning.

These are public, nationalistic and personal at the very same time.
"The Karni Pass was closed",
"a terrorist attack at the Karni pivot",
"my daugter Roni enlisted to the army".
